First Patient Monitoring Roundtable -
Successful kick-off and inspiring exchange

Back to Overview

You are here:

On January 27, 2022, our first Patient Monitoring Roundtable took place in a virtual format. With the Roundtable, we want to create a platform for a regular exchange between clinical users, such as nurses and physicians, and manufacturers of medical technology. At this kick-off event, we primarily shared our experiences with monitoring technologies and alarm management, and participants had the opportunity to network with other attendees.

Small group discussions focused on topics such as alarm fatigue, usability, data collection difficulties, and challenges with interoperability. Further aspects can be found in the Word Cloud. In this context, it was particularly important for us to focus on the current problems while giving space to the perspectives of the individual participants.

We were very pleased with the positive feedback at the end of the discussion round and would like to thank all the participants of the first Roundtable for their openness and commitment!

The next Roundtable will be held on February 17, 2022. We will announce the topic a week in advance. If we have sparked your interest to participate in the second Roundtable, you can let us know here. Also, if you have attended previous Roundtables, please register again.

The Patient Monitoring Roundtable is organized by Hacking Health Berlin and INCH e.V. (Initiative for Collaboration and Innovation in Healthcare e.V.) in cooperation with the Institute for Medical Informatics at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
