Sophie K. Piper holds a PhD in physics and is co-leader of the joint working group “Clinical Data and Methods” of the Institute of Medical Informatics (IMI) and the Institute of Biometry and Clinical Epidemiology (iBikE) at Charité. Since 2014 she is working as a biostatistician at the Charité, focusing on statistical consultancy, planning and analysis of clinical and preclinical studies. Mrs. Piper is a member if the current animal welfare committee in Berlin and was a member of the first cohort of the SPOKES Wellcome Trust Funded Fellowship in 2020/21.Together with Kerstin Rubarth she is responsible for the Methods Lab as well as the statistical supervision and planning of all ongoing projects at IMI. Currently, she is working on the ICD10Codes project.
