Falk Meyer-Eschenbach is a computer scientist with expertise in artificial intelligence and full-stack software development. 

In the startup environment, Falk has organized and implemented various industrial projects for the development of applicable software for different industries. 

At the Institute for Medical Informatics, Falk's current (research) focus is on the development of an applicable tool to detect and predict the onset of sepsis in intensive care units in time with the help of artificial intelligence. (The survival probability of a patient depends largely on early detection.)
