Merve Sarica is a medical student at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and has been a working student at the Institute for Medical Informatics since 2021 (workgroup “Patient Monitoring and Alarm Management”). As part of her doctoral thesis, she is currently involved in the MoGeW study. The aim of the study is to develop tools for the implementation of episodic continuous vital sign monitoring in general wards. She is also involved in the organization of the Patient Monitoring Roundtable, which was established by the Institute for Medical Informatics in cooperation with Hacking Health Berlin and INCH e.V. (Initiative for Innovation and Collaboration in Healthcare (INCH) e.V.).
