Expertise

Sebastian Boie did his Ph.D. in mathematics in New Zealand and has subsequently worked at the Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC and in various Berlin-based Startups as a data scientist. At the Institute he is working on applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods in patient care and public health.

He is co-leading the Data Science in Outcome Research Group together with Alexander Meyer.
