Heiko Tzschätzsch is a physicist and Professor of Image Science and Signal Analysis in the Imaging and Signals WG. From 2011 to 2023, he worked in the Elastography group of the Department of Radiology, where he last headed the Ultrasound Elastography section. Since 2023, he has moved to the AG Imaging and Signals of the Institute of Medical Informatics. His focus is digital image and signal processing for diagnostic applications based on medical imaging data.
